Saba joined KORE Power in 2019 and brought over 20 years of sales and business development experience. He was responsible for recruiting working teams and expanding growth into new markets in his previous roles. He has taken that experience and is applying it to clean energy and e-mobility.

Saba drives immense growth for KORE Power by heading our India office that expands into the APAC regions. Our India office is growing and working hard to drive a positive impact. We recently sat down with Saba to ask him a few questions about his vision for the future of clean energy and KORE Power.

What have you enjoyed most about the work you've done at KORE Power?

Being part of the KORE Team has been truly inspirational. I enjoy working with colleagues from across the world with one common goal; to grow a smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable way to produce, store, and consume energy.

This year has been challenging with the global pandemic. However, clean energy has been in focus with increased optimism.

It is gratifying to establish KORE Power's India office, building the India team from the ground up. I am pleased to have cultivated a committed team representing diverse backgrounds and the common goal of promoting the clean energy transition. We are in the right place at the right time for this goal. With the Indian Government policies promoting green energy initiatives and companies keen to join this green transition, it is an exciting time for all of us at KORE!

We have found ways to adapt to our new work environment and newer ways to create awareness around the importance of clean energy. I am proud of our team's contributions, which have triumphed over challenges and remain focused on addressing customer needs.

What excites you most about the future of Clean Energy?

It is easy to see the negative effects of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants on the environment and human health. Growing up in cities with high pollution, I saw first-hand how dangerous these pollutants can be. Fossil fuels are the main driver and source of these harmful emissions. The most exciting part of clean energy is that it will work to reverse the damage being done and change the course of the future. The rate at which this industry is expanding is astounding.

A leading data and analytics company, GlobalData, predicts the Energy Storage market globally ‎will rise to US $13.13 billion by 2023. The APAC region will play a significant role in the energy storage markets over the coming years, making up 45% of the world's installed battery storage capacity last year. India dominates the market for energy storage in the South Asia region; it's estimated there will be a total of 70 GWh of Energy Storage opportunities in India by ‎‎2026.‎

The cost of green power has been declining intensely for years and has become one of the most affordable options in many economies. With monetary policy promoting clean energy and access to investments, this will propel further energy transition growth.

One of the key changes that will enable clean energy are governments committed to putting clean energy at the forefront of policies, attracting private sector contributions, and growing interest in achieving clean energy goals. Continuous innovation in this sector will improve & optimize resources.

I'm very excited to be part of this change, and I am happy that we at KORE are doing our part.
