"As many may know, the KORE Power North America Factory Site Selection Team has been strategically traveling around the continental U.S. exploring potential sites for our factory.
This undertaking is vital not only to KORE Power in securing a larger global manufacturing footprint but also towards creating a meaningful partnership within the selected community - delivering well over two thousand jobs and a substantial economic impact upon the facility opening.
Even in today's modern age of information-at-lightspeed and telepresence everywhere, the fundamentals of an available qualified workforce, along with proximity to logistics and transportation infrastructure, tend to be weighted heavily in the selection process. The amount of raw materials required for manufacturing operations, and the weight/value of the finished goods is awe-inspiring (and none of it travels in a FedEx box).
With 2020 now upon us, we are focused on finishing the remaining scheduled site visits. While the amount of work remaining on this project is immense, it's tempered by the experiences of meeting and learning about some truly amazing States, Counties, Cities, Utilities, and Jurisdictional Organizations in this great land!"
